Description
Given my past with the Dutch Marine Corps, I still feel connected and I am part of the Marines' sick bay (Mariniers ziekenboeg).
Every month we send cards to sick marines and/or their families to lift their spirits, and we also visit them from time to time.
The cards that my wife and I design, with me writing the poems and her handling the layout and photos, are highly appreciated by the marines.
A portion of the proceeds goes to the Marines' sick bay, the funeral team and the burn center.
Here is the website of the Marines' sick bay: www.mariniersziekenboeg.nl
