Massage

Attention to your body

Sports massage or pure relaxation, your feet, your organs or deep rest. I massage with natural oil, at my home in Hoofdplaat or at yours. Combinations are always possible, and the practice room has air conditioning.

Relaxation massage

With warm oil. This can be a full body massage or only your back, shoulders or legs, for example. The focus is on relaxation.

Sports massage

A lot more intensive than a relaxation massage. I give extra attention to the muscle groups that need it most at that moment. Kinesio taping can be added.

Chair massage

For overall relaxation, where I also use pressure points. Low-threshold, because you keep your clothes on. Also at work: see for businesses.

Chinflex® foot massage

A treat for body and mind, based on the ancient Chinese foot massage. The whole body is reflected in the feet. By massaging the zones, blood flow to the corresponding organ improves. The meridians and acupuncture points on the feet, lower legs and knees are also massaged.

As an extra, you can start with a foot herbal bath. This kick-starts detoxification, and the herbs reduce muscle and joint complaints.

Hand reflexology massage

The pressure points on your hands reflect all parts of your body, on the outside and inside. A reflex travels through the nerves to the spine and back again, without your brain being needed. By stimulating a point, the body can respond via the nerves.

Thai Table Stretch

Over clothing, so wear loose-fitting clothes. Your body is moved, loosened and stretched using techniques from yoga and massage. This stimulates the circulation and lymphatic system, so you regain energy.

Chi Nei Tsang

An ancient energetic organ massage from Taoist China. Literally: working on the energy of the organs so they can do their job better. It ensures better blood supply to the organs and removal of waste products, and appeals to the body's self-healing capacity.

Yoga Nidra

Yogic sleep: a guided meditation in which you enter a state between waking and sleeping. You lie still on your back and follow my voice through a body scan, breathing and visualisations. You don't have to do anything, just listen. With or without singing bowls and didgeridoo in the background.

It helps against stress and restlessness, gives deep rest and can improve your sleep. Wear warm clothing; a blanket and pillow help.

Extra

Warmth of the TDP lamp

During treatments I use two TDP lamps. This is a Chinese heat lamp with a plate of 33 minerals, which emits far-infrared heat. That heat penetrates deeper than an ordinary infrared lamp.

In Chinese medicine, the lamp is used for muscle pain, joint complaints, and for relaxation and recovery. It provides a wonderful, deeply penetrating warmth. Highly recommended.
