With my past in the Dutch Marine Corps, I still feel connected and I volunteer with the Marine Sick Bay (Mariniers ziekenboeg).
Every month we send sick marines and/or their families a card to give them a boost, and we also visit them from time to time.
The cards that my wife and I design, I write the poems and she handles the layout and photos, are highly appreciated by the marines.
A portion of the proceeds goes to the Marine Sick Bay, the funeral team and the burn care center.
